Through pictures...

They say that babies change so quickly..whoever "they" are..."they" are correct. Walker has changed so much in the past two months. I decided once he arrived that I wanted to take snapshots along the way. Here is a glimpse of how much Walker Reagan has grown in the past two months.
Two Weeks Old (forgot to do the little piece of paper)

In the two months that Walker has been a part of our family he has accompished many things and has had many moments. These are a few of the milestones and memories we have made as a family so far:

  • Walker has GERD...aka acid reflux. He takes a dose of prevacid every morning and has oatmeal cereal in every other bottle. He started two teaspoons of cereal at 3 weeks to help with his GERD.

  • From birth, Walker has had great control over his head. He has gotten stronger and stronger every day. He can turn his head from side to side during tummy time, while on your shoulder he can move his head from one side to the other, and when you are burping him during a feeding he is always pushing back and throwing his head around because he wants to lay back down to eat more! :)

  • Walker loves laying on his back. When he is taking a snooze he loves to stretch out. He gave up swaddling days after being at home. He dislikes tummy time, but is starting to get better at it.

  • Walker really loves his swing that we bought for him. If everything else fails to get him to calm down, we can usually help him soothe himself to sleep in his swing.

  • Bath time is something that Walker started out not being very fond of, but has grown to love the water!

  • Since Walker was a week old, we have taken him on walks with his doggies. Usually he snoozes through the whole walk, but now he has realized that there is lots to see when you go on a walk. One day soon he will enjoy feeding the ducks too!
  • By 7 weeks, Walker has acheived many milestones. He rolled over from his tummy to his back for the first time. We started to see more social smiles. He began sleeping from his 10 PM feeding to his 6 AM feeding on a regular basis! WHOOOO HOOOO to that milestone! He is eating 6 1/4 ounces of formula and still having cereal in every other bottle. And thanks to Mrs. Brooke, he has discovered Mickey Mouse ClubHouse. Check him out! He LOVES IT!
Video of Walker watching mickey!!

  • Walker has discovered his hands in the past few days.  It is awesome to watch him keep himself entertained with his hands by grabbing things, batting at things, and sucking on his thumb or hand.
Walker--your daddy and I are so proud to call you our son. You have done amazing things in the past two months. We pray that you continue to grow and develop into the young boy that God has planned for you to become. We are here to guide you along the way. :)
