2 month check up....

Here are Walker's two month stats with amounts and percentiles. We have a baby that likes to eat, is tall, and his cheeks fit his head!! :).

As Walker waited for Dr. Tseng, we played the "Hot Dog Song" for him. For those of you that don't know, that's the song that Mickey and his gang sing at the close of each episode of Mickey's ClubHouse.  He laid on the table and kicked his feet and moved his arms!  He loves Mickey!  We shared with Dr. Tseng his love for Mickey and she said it's obvious that one or both of you are musical people since he likes music so much.  Also, she said that it might be from when I was pregnant he enjoyed the tunes that mommy and daddy listened to.   This would explain a lot....we LOVE music and he sure heard a lot of it in my tummy!Dr. Tseng checked out Walker and he has slight eczema on his cheeks that we will have to put cortisone cream on once a day. Also, she let us know that we can give Walker 1/2 ounce of prune juice each day to keep him regular. :).   She noticed a slight heat rash on his upper chest and gave us instructions on what to do as summer approaches since Walker is a hot natured little man!  As she was giving him his physical, she noticed that Walker was making spit bubbles.  She said, "Wow, that's a big boy.  Most babies don't do that at this age."   She then went over his percentiles with us and explained what each immunization was that he was going to get.  I wish I would have taken a picture of his face when he got his first shot, but I was holding his little hand and talking to him.  Let's just say our son has a great set of lungs on him.  We also know that his tear ducts work because he shed some tears today.  We went home and gave Walker a bath to calm him down before his 6 o'clock feeding. ....that seemed to do the trick.  I will leave you with a picture of the happy baby BEFORE we went to the doctor.
Walker...today you had your first big boy shots.  Let's just say you hollered like a big boy!  You have been growing up a storm...you're almost 2 feet long!!  My prayer for you today is that you will rest well tonight and that your little thighs won't be too sore from your injections that you got.  I love you!  ~mom~
